Building on the overwhelming success of "The Connection 07” last year, MSN Arabia hosted this year’s edition of its annual Digital Advertising Symposium, dubbed "The Connection 08”, held at the Sun International Hotels, Port Ghalib from May 8th - 10th 2008.
The three-day event played host to 250 guests representing the most prominent agencies and companies from various regional countries including UAE, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Qatar, Bahrain, Pakistan and Morocco. The main areas of focus centered around the most recent advances in digital advertising technology, digital marketing solutions, various related trends and the all-important issue of creativity.All topics were carefully analyzed via a series of presentations and case studies. The wrap-up session was an intriguing Question and Answer forum led by Mohamed El Sayad – General Manager MSN Arabia, Maghreb and Pakistan, and revolved in large part around the emerging digital advertising landscape and the expected seismic shift in the way all media is delivered. In essence, the forum tried to answer the question "where is digital advertising heading"?
